This course introduces students to the ethical and responsible use of data in society and organisations. It covers key topics such as privacy, personal data, consent, confidentiality, data protection, data breaches, artificial intelligence, algorithmic bias, surveillance, and data governance.
Students will learn how to identify privacy risks, use data responsibly, and recommend safeguards to protect individuals and organisations. All course materials, announcements, activities, assessments, and learning resources will be available on this Moodle page.
